Kaiser in 1960 as the world headquarters of Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp. The building was purchased out of bankruptcy court by Highridge Partners in 2003 after the building had fallen into neglect and occupancy had fallen to 60%. Following extensive renovations, the building was fully restored to its previous beauty and stature as a major milestone in the history of architecture.
